Policies & Procedures

CANCELATION POLICY

We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:


48 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 48 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
 

Recurring Cancelations

If you have two cancelations with less than 48-hour notice in one calendar year or recurring cancelations within that 48-hour window, I will no longer accept your requests to schedule appointments in the future.
 
If you have a Gift Certificate, e-gift certificate, prepaid session or package, I reserve the right to automatically deduct payment in full to cover your canceled appointment from these funds.  This policy also applies to appointments made and canceled in the same day.
 
No-shows
 
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their “missed” appointment.

Late Arrivals
 
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending on how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
 
Inclement Weather
In the event that there is inclement weather, all appointments will be rescheduled, as your safety is of the utmost importance.
Inclement weather can include blizzards, heavy snow, icy roads, or even impending snow storms.


Contagious Illness or Flu
If you are ill, please call or email me immediately to let me know you will not be able to make your scheduled appointment. Services will not be rendered in the event of a contagious illness or flu due to the safety and consideration of other scheduled clients.


Right To Refuse or Terminate Services
I reserve the right to refuse or terminate services at any time. You may be liable for payment of the terminated session. In the case of a Gift Certificate, e-gift certificate, prepaid session or package, it may be considered used (and no refunds will be given) if any of the following apply.

Reasons may include (but are not limited to): 
  • Being under the influence of pain killers (OTC/prescription), alcohol, or other drugs or intoxicants (massage may not be safe if you cannot gauge pain)
  • Contagious illness such as flu or cold
  • Poor hygiene- Please be clean (bathed within the past 12 hours)
  • Being rude or disrespectful
  • Cursing
  • Being late, canceling last minute, or chronic rescheduling of appointments

 

REFUNDS - ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN ON PURCHASED PACKAGES OR GIFT CERTIFICATES.
